GW at logistics fair in Switzerland
The GW team was more than happy with events at the LOGISTICS Switzerland 2010 in Bern. The orange booth turned out to be a crowd puller and attracted lots of visitors.
It was not only due to the striking orange colour that so many visitors of the logistics fair came to the GW booth. Especially the services offered by the local team attracted the attention of numerous interested guests on 15 and 16 September. ”We were able to welcome 56 visitors to our stand. 40 of them were qualified contacts, with whom we will stay in touch after the fair to talk about business opportunities”, says Christoph Dietmann (sales manager), one of the eight GW representatives at the fair.
Worth the effort
The effort has definitively been well invested. Apart from the preparations, organising the fair booth and the team on-site, it is mainly the follow-up which is time-consuming. Natalie Wolf, who organised the fair participation of GW Switzerland, is pleased with the results so far: ”The LOGISTICS Switzerland is an important event for the sector. For Gebrüder Weiss, the effort has been worthwile. The long-term outcome remains to be seen. It will take a while, before all the contacts are established.”
